mannie questions:
Managing contact lists
I recently got a new cell phone and found it very difficult to transfer my old numbers to my new phone due to a compatibility issue. I was wondering how everyone else out there managed their contact lists.
View A
I manually input my contact lists into each device. My contact email addresses, mailing addresses, and phone numbers are somewhat organized but would be difficult to transfer. If I were to lose my cell phone or misplace my address book, I would have no backup.
View B
I use online or computer software and keep all my contact information in one central location so that I can simply download it to any device or get it straight from my computer.

Aos thinks: I like to keep all my contacts within Gmail although this doesn't help when I change to a new cell phone. It's getting easier now that phones are equipped with data cables to interface with the computer, but there is still not a all-in-one solution that I have found to store all my contacts.
afmbf thinks: Use electronic diaries compatable with computer software like outlook or any other.
fearlessgirl thinks: When I find a lot of time I'll transfer the numbers on my own or I'll email everyone my new number and when they call me I'll add them
