Simplifying video for the internet
There are so many formats and codecs available for online video. How are we as users supposed to make sense of it all?

Much like DVDs and CDs, online video should have a standard format. No longer will we have to download separate players for each type of file.

Format wars are not the answer. Video formats work in different ways and each has it's place. The resulting competition can only force software makers to create a better user experience to differentiate and succeed.
